Unlike most financial advisors, OWA has realized there are several shortcomings in today's financial services industry delivering the best probability for clients achieving long term financial success and ultimate happiness and fulfillment.
First, values clarity is key for creating motivation and inspiration, and is achieved in the Financial Road Map meeting and revisited regularly.
Second, a comprehensive financial plan developed by a third party CFP that is regularly updated is required to keep us on target.

In this approximately 1 hour meeting (that includes both spouses if you are married) we explore your core values about money and life. With that crucial information guiding us, we establish your future goals that require money and planning to achieve. Finally we look at your financial documents and establish your current financial situation.
This information, placed on the Financial Road Map provides clarity about your future life that you have most likely have not experienced. This meeting is at no obligation, and at the end of the meeting, we determine if we are a fit to each other or not. If we agree to work together, we collect a fee to create your first written financial game plan.
In each meeting we briefly review your core values discovered in the Financial Road Map Meeting. About 2 to 3 weeks after the financial road map meeting we meet again to implement the first few high priority actions. We will explain what needs to be done and why, and have the necessary paperwork available for you to sign.
In each meeting we briefly review your core values discovered in the Financial Road Map Meeting. We will meet 4 times per year to continue implementing your plan, monitor progress and adjust for changes in your situation. We will review your "financial moving parts" against our financial master checklist over a year's cycle to make sure everything is being addressed.
On an as-needed basis we will review and update your financial plan and take action as necessary to keep on track.
For each of our monitoring meetings, there will be one or more focus areas, so that in a year's time, all areas of your financial strategy will have been reviewed.
In some of those meetings, we may include the technical professional covering one or more core competencies being reviewed.
